Working in unexpected dimensions in commercials, music videos and fashion editorials, Alan Bibby has a fascination for fashion, art, drama and visual storytelling.
As a director, creative director and designer, his work exists at the intersection of art and commerce, collaborating with artists including Rihanna, Stevie Wonder, Kygo, Zedd, Washed Out, Tori Kelly and Arianna Grande.
Commercially, he has directed internationally for almost every major brand, including Lexus, Castrol, Google, Sony, Nike, Marc Jacobs, Honda, Budweiser, and Mercedes.
Recently he has been pursuing explorations into virtual reality and installation based work, and the intersections between traditional storytelling and experiential.
His films, consistently praised for their visual style, have been shown at international festivals and museums across the world, including MoMA PS1, the Museum of Arts and Design, the Tate Modern in London and Palais de Tokyo.
Born and raised in New Zealand, he now currently resides in New York.
